Saturday 18th November 10am-4pm
Here at CLC we are committed to creating a pastoral framework that seeks to equip us all to care for one another. As a part of this framework, we've been working behind the scenes to put together a mentoring scheme. Mentoring is whereby one person seeks to intentionally invest in another for the sake their discipleship to Jesus.
What is Mentoring Training?
We want to equip you to become the best mentor possible. Therefore, we've scheduled a day of intentional input to help you become just that. Whilst not too intense, by attending this day of training we think you'll be strengthened and encouraged to go and begin mentoring others, seeking to intentionally invest in their discipleship to Jesus.
Introducing Paul Wilcox
We're excited to announce that we'll be joined by Paul Wilcox, a mentoring expert, for the day's training for all those wanting to mentor. Paul mentors existing and emerging leaders around the country, as well as teaching, writing, training and preaching to bang the drum for intentional discipling relationships.
What will we be learning?
During our day together, we'll be exploring a range of helpful topics from defining mentoring, all the way to how to look after yourself as a mentor. A brief description of the sessions can be found below:
Where will the training day take place?
The training day will be at our Church Building: 900 Bristol Road, Selly Oak, B29 6PB
If you'd like to become a mentor at CLC, or you're from another church/organisation and would value this type of input, we'd like to invite you this specific day's training. There is no cost involved, but to help us have an idea of numbers we are asking you to register online by filling out the form below:
